The ease of online shopping isn’t new but, as technology marches ever forward, it’s the ease of the experience and the convenience of the transaction that has the customers spending. Click and collect, virtual stores and mobile access are all keeping shopping habits on the move.
Who needs to write a shopping list! Grab a drink and head down to the online shop. Which, according to a survey, is just what has been happening for some 4% of online shoppers who manage to take delivery of items they can’t remember purchasing.
With an expected £2bn spend online this year; it could be interesting making the returns of personalised items.
