T’was the night before Business, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even the PC mouse;
The stocking finance, put aside with care,
In hopes that exposure was no longer there.
The bank managers nestled all snug in their beds,
Visions of sweet deals dancing in their heads;
And the drama of terms relieved with a cap,
They settled down for a long winter’s nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave lustre to all the FinTech below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer.
With an App as the driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be electronic.
More rapid than eagles its coursers they came,
All bells and whistles, data-led installed calls for their names;
“Now, DASHBOARD! now, DANCER! now, PRANCER and VISION!
On, COMET! on CUPID! on, DOMAIN and BLITZEN!
To the top of the branch! Not to the wall!
Dash away hassle! dash away! dash away gaul!”
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
A sleigh full of control, and cash-flow too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof,
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my hand, and was turning around,
Down the chimney money management came with a bound.
Dressed up with impact, to keep business afloat,
Challenges banished and given the boot;
Ability to scale and begin to payback,
The opened Prozac could be put back in its pack.
Solutions without obstacles! – Is that customary?
The revolutionary that becomes ordinary!
